If you haven't installed AnyConnect, please refer to: How To Install Cisco AnyConnect

1. Open 'Cisco AnyConnect' on your computer
   
2. AnyConnect will open in the bottom-right corner, enter 'vpn.uic.edu' into the field
   
3. Press 'Connect'
   
4. A window will pop-up in the bottom-right corner, enter your netID and password into the 'Username' and 'Password' fields, for the 'Second Password' field enter:
   1. if the client set up push notifications enter 'push'
   2. if they are set up to receive a call enter 'phone'
   3. if they are set up to receive text messages enter 'sms'
      1. After typing 'sms' as the second password. You will have to type your password in a second time, and type the code texted to you as the second password.
   4. if they opted for the hardware token enter the password generated from the key
      
5. Press 'Ok'
   
6. Open the 'Duo Mobile' application on your mobile phone, and press 'Request Waiting. Tap To Respond..'
   
7. Press 'Approve'
   
8. A notification will pop-up letting you know that your machine has connected successfully
